Match count and average resemblance for each celebrity.
Who's the strongest single match?
Looking only at each person's #1, highest-confidence match, the ranking shifts — Timothée Chalamet pulls clearly ahead as the single most common closest lookalike:
| # | Celebrity | Times the #1 match |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Timothée Chalamet | 2,212 |
| 2 | Dev Patel | 1,187 |
| 3 | Tom Holland | 855 |
| 4 | Selena Gomez | 631 |
| 5 | Zayn Malik | 609 |
| 6 | Rami Malek | 583 |
| 7 | Henry Cavill | 582 |
What the ranking reveals
The most-matched faces share a clear signature: youthful, expressive features (Chalamet, Tom Holland, Shawn Mendes, Finn Wolfhard) and a genuinely diverse mix of the most-matched men (Dev Patel, Riz Ahmed, Rami Malek, Manny Jacinto, Donald Glover). It's a useful reminder that a "lookalike" is about specific feature geometry — eye shape, bone structure, facial harmony — not skin tone or a single Hollywood ideal. The highest average resemblance scores, meanwhile, go to faces with very distinctive, well-defined structure — Henry Cavill (77%) and Zayn Malik (74%) — where a match tends to be unmistakable.
Methodology
This study aggregates 71,031 celebrity-lookalike matches produced across 23,709 completed analyses on FaceRating.ai (Nov 2025 – Jul 2026). Each analysis returns up to three matches with a resemblance percentage. "Most matched" counts all matches; "#1 match" counts only each person's highest-confidence result; "average resemblance" is the mean percentage for that celebrity. All figures are aggregate and anonymized — no individual results, images, or personal data are included. Matches reflect the AI model's feature-similarity assessment.
